Bryan has been playing the guitar for over 15 years. His first guitar was a beat up, used Peavey electric. Learning to play by using guitar magazines and tablature, he found himself playing along to his favorite CDs at a young age. Mostly playing and learning Top 40 Modern Rock, it was then when he heard Van Halens "Balance" album and knew right away that the guitar could do so much more than just banging away playing chords. It was then when he turned into a gear junkie and a hard practicing musician.

"A guitar junkie turns into a recording junkie". After learning who to play the guitar, it then turned into something bigger. Once you can play the guitar, you'll soon find out you'll want the world to hear it. So why not record it? and do it yourself! After letting go of the "Gear Junkie" fever, it slowly began to re-appear itself in a new form. More and more recording gear slowly made its way into the house.

"Wait, it gets worse". After you learn to record yourself, it doesn't stop there. You'll find yourself wanting to learn how to make it sound PROFESSIONAL. Anyone can record themselves, but what separates the men from the boys is how you can sweeten up the recording during mixing and mastering the audio.

Mixing/Mastering is a art form, and like all things....practise makes perfect. It takes years and years of learning, experimenting, testing and trial and error before you can get a grasp on it. Not to mention you really need a good set of ears.

"Like many things, .....guitars, recording, and being creative is addicting. The sad thing is that this drug has no cure, other than too keep doing it........"
